100 Miles for Men’s Health: The Lions PSA Challenge
100 miles. Two Clubs. One vital cause!
Members and friends of the Lechlade & District Lions Club are joining forces and hitting the road for a gruelling 100-mile cycle challenge. We aren't just testing our stamina; we are riding to ensure that local men have access to life-saving health screenings.
Why We’re Riding
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, but early detection through PSA testing drastically improves outcomes.
Our Goal: By riding 100 miles, we are raising the funds needed to run a joint PSA testing programme organised by both the Highworth and Lechlade Lions. The programme will provide professional screenings for men in our local communities, removing the cost barrier and providing a simple, blood-based check that can catch issues before they become life-threatening.
How Your Donation Helps
Every penny raised goes directly toward the medical professionals, laboratory equipment, and logistics required to run essential screening clinics.
The Ride: 100 miles of grit and determination across our local landscape.
The Partnership: Two Lions clubs working as one to serve our community.
The Impact: Early detection, peace of mind, and lives saved.
Support the Journey
Donate: Just £20 directly funds a man’s PSA test.
Share: Help us spread the word! The more people who see this, the more tests we can subsidise.
Awareness: Tell the men in your life about the Highworth and Lechlade Lions testing days.
Thank you for supporting the Highworth and Lechlade Lions. Together, we are stronger!
