Cotswolds pubs support the Lions this Easter

19 local pubs in and around Lechlade, Burford and Fairford are taking part in a charity Easter egg raffle organised by the Lechlade and District Lions.

The pubs are doing this for free and every penny raised will go to local people in need, via the Lions charity.

Each pub has a giant 1 kilogram finest Belgian chocolate Easter egg on display in the bar.

Customers are invited to drop £2 in the money box and write their contact details on the numbered grid (both box and grid are in the pub) – and each pub will hold a draw to raffle the giant egg before Easter.

Lechlade and District Lions President Ian Thomas said “We are delighted so many of our wonderful local pubs are supporting this fund-raising initiative so strongly. They are local heroes!”
