Who are Lechlade and District Lions?
Lechlade and District Lions Club was formed in 1967 as a service organization to help the local and wider community. It is part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service organization in the world.
The Club has a membership of approximately 22 individuals who meet and work together to provide help and support to the local community. Our members come from all walks of life but we all have a common desire to put something back into the community. Our time is divided between raising funds, supporting the local community both financially and by providing help and assistance where needed. We also meet socially to relax and enjoy ourselves
As part of a larger organisation we meet with our neighboring clubs to discuss our common business and to enjoy ourselves. Once each year we gather together with other clubs from our District which covers western central England and South Wales.
