Lechlade Lions are always active in the local community.

We use our funds to help a variety of individuals and groups within the community. The two main areas are helping local young people and the senior citizens.

We often make donations to youth groups such as local Scouts and Brownies as well as many of the local playgroups and schools. We have provided financial support to young individuals taking part in challenges like Operation Raleigh and walking the Great Wall of China.

With our area being a rural one a significant portion of our funds are taken in providing a Community Minibus which is used by local organizations.

Every year, in early January when the post Christmas blues are setting in, we run a Christmas Party for the Senior Citizens of Lechlade, Fairford and the surrounding villages.

During the year we put our hand to many activities that help the community run smoothly,  As an example we put the flags up for Lechlade Flag Festival in the summer and marshall the Christmas Lights switch on.
