Who are Lechlade & District Lions?

Lechlade Lions Club is a member of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club in the world.  We were chartered in 1978 to help, primarily in the local community, but also to assist further afield where possible, either financially or with manpower.

We have a good mix of members, male & female, some in full time employment, some in  part time employment and some retired, but all with the same desires:

· To put something back into the community
· To have fun while doing it

We meet fortnightly on 2nd and 4th Thursday, 8.00 pm at The New Inn. The first meeting is ‘full business’ and the second receives Committee updates and deals with any urgent business which won’t wait until the next Business Meeting.

Meetings last 60/90 minutes, giving time for a drink and a natter together afterwards.

Occasionally we welcome a Speaker, usually in connection with one of our activities, or receive visitors from other Clubs and District officers.
